About Texas Restoration Group's Owner
Carlos Acevedo is the founder and owner of Texas Restoration Group, serving Central Texas with professional water, fire, mold, and storm restoration services. Carlos grew up in Puerto Rico and is fluent in both Spanish and English.
He holds a bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico – Cayey and a Master's degree in Statistics from the University of Texas – Austin. He met his wife in Austin, TX and has proudly called Austin home since 2001.
Carlos worked in the consulting industry as a QA statistician for over 18 years, bringing strategic and comprehensive solutions to every client. He decided to embark on a new career path — combining his people skills, technical expertise, and entrepreneurial drive to be a dependable solution for customers during stressful events at home or business.
When he's not helping families and businesses recover from disasters, Carlos enjoys a good cup of coffee, playing sports, traveling, hiking, and biking with his wife and two daughters.
